A Meeting at the Dwarf Capital

Hrothgar was seated at a round table that had 20 other seats waiting for Jennifer to show up. The messages told him that they where 15min away but there always a chance for it too be off so he got up and waited at the door for his guest to arrive. It as been a year since he seen last meeting he had with Jennifer. He was wearing a lighter version of his armor and that was red and metallic colored he had gloves and normal leather boots on. Hrothgar was not one for fancy clothing but most Dwarfs weren't.

Jennifer neared the capital of the dwarves in her caravan about 5 minutes late. She was in her usual black and dark blue gown with the crown of the high king. Jenn was in the capital and exited her carriage and looked for Hroth. It had been a year since they fought together on the field of battle.

Hazel followed after Jenn, not really knowing what to expect. She was pretty new to this whole royalty thing, or being able to walk around and not having to worry about the guards chasing after her. She followed Jennifer in step, walking carefully and trying to look proper as she did.

Hrothgar was now waiting outside the meeting hall leaning up against the wall. He was looking for Jennifer. He caught a glance of some tall people and knew it was Jennifer, she looked a bit lost so he walked up and said "Greetings Jennifer! How was your trip?" He said this in a over friendly way but Hrothgar was always a bit overly friendly, except to Orcs that was.

Jennifer walked towards Hroth and said, "Hello! It was a bit long. I wish I wasn't travelling everywhere. How are things over here?" she said looking down at the dwarf. She didn't want to seem rude but by looking at the top of their heads they couldn't tell the difference between them.

Hazel crouched down a bit, right next to Hroth.

Hazel: Hi, nice to meet you? I'm Hazel, and you are?

She held out her hand to him, giving a small smile.

Hrothgar weekly shook Hazel's hand, which was still a decently strong handshake on a human scale."I am the Dwarf King, Hrothgar, nice to meet you Hazel."

Hrothgar then turned back to Jennifer and said "Lets go inside he pretty cold out today" He lead the way to the Meeting hall and on the way said "Things are going well here also, and on a note next year you should really let me visit, your stealing all the changes I have to go out and get fresh air once a year." He said the last part jokingly.

Jenn laughed and followed the dwarf inside, making sure Hazel didn't get into any trouble, "Now, Hrothgar, what did you call this meeting to dicuss?"

Hazel followed close by, grabbing at her hand. She was pretty sure that she wasn't going to be using that for the rest of the day, not that she really needed to. She didn't even know what this meaning was about, so she would probably be safe from it.

"Well I called this meeting to talk about opening up more trade with the humans and Dwarfs. We have mined up a great deal of ore lately so much so we really don't know how to use all of it, but there are also places where we barely have food, but I also called this to talk about military issues with the Orcs, and Trolls." They walked into the meeting room and Hrothgar noticed that Hazel was still walking with them so he asked "Who are you?"

"She is Lady Hazel of Undar, and she has my permission to sit on our meeting." Jenn said offended, "Now let us dicuss these terms, we are able to spare supplementary amounts of food should we recieve ores and troops."

Hazel: Yeah. . . What she said.

She rubbed the back of her head, feeling awkward about this whole meaning. She wanted to say something, but didn't know what to say.

"Well welcome Lady Hazel to the meeting hall." Hrothgar said this while opening the door to show a round table made of dark wood and was 6ft across. Hrothgar held open the door letting Jennifer and Hazel pick out there seats first. He then said "The troops and ore will be a small price to pay for food, but we can also make swords and armor for you."

"Indeed swords and armor may be nice, but unnesscary. We are running low on nails and other trinkets and the ore may help greatly," she said sitting down and pulling out a seat for Hazel

Hazel nodded, then sat down next to Jenn. She looked around the area, admiring the architect and not paying attention.

Hrothgar stayed quite in till he toke a seat on the opposite side of Jennifer and Hazel he was sitting in front of a full suite of armor that he made for display quite a while back. He then said "Well how many troops will you need also?"

"Just enough to bolster the defenses at the capital. Something is coming, I can sense it." she said drinking

Hazel looked at the drink, wondering if it was beer or not. She then shrugged, and took a sip from it, not caring what it was and just wanted to quench her thirst.

"Well it be good to make sure also, I honestly don't trust those dang Orcs either. Ill send 200 troops we have plenty here." Hrothgar was still hated the Orcs from the time they attacked them. Hrothgar then toke a sip of his drink and then added "It is the Orcs you worried about right?" He was concerned about this question because at first he just assumed it was Orcs but it may be something ells.

"Yes, many things actually and I agree that the orcs may not be trusted. In exchange for these troops and ores you will recieve 500 tons of breads, grains and vegatables.

Hazel stopped paying attention, focusing on sipping her drinks slowly. She started to nod off, though she wasn't falling on her head with the slumber that was overcoming her.

Hrothgar noticed how many drinks Hazel was having and was wondering if he should say something about how much alcohol that was... Hrothgar thought to himself. 'Should I say something...naw lets just hope she doesn't get drunk. She should know when to stop... hopefully.' He then toke another sip of his drink and asked Jennifer "250 tons of gold, 50tons of rare gems, and 500 soldiers sound good right?" He looked at Hazel and added in "And maybe a barrel of mead that Hazel seems to like?" He said this smiling.

Jenn laughed, "Don't worry me and Hazel will talk about that. And that sounds like a good trade. Shall we sign a document?"

Hazel: Uh oh.

She fell out of her chair and onto the floor, snoring lightly.

Hrothgar said "Yes lets sign a document an-" He was about to add something but Hazel fell out of her chair and hit the ground. Hrothgar got up and walked over to her side of the table. She drunk 3 of the drinks. "*sigh* Your only suppose to have 2 of those things at max."
